The McClain brothers are doing the most! I think this is the fastest I have read a 2 book series, I know there are 2 more 😊. I usually like to spend quality time with my new family but since it was mostly the same characters I didn’t see the harm or disloyalty in continuing.

Leland has won my heart ❤ It wasn’t his good looks that sold him but his actions. When he says he wants, loves, and cares for you he means it and definitely knows how to show it. He let nothing and no one stand in his way from loving and caring for Kim.

I loved the relationship they had; they are like someone I knew 😊 I connected with them in every way. Did I mention Leland was a fool 😂 the way he talked to Lil Kim… love it

Now I was introduced to Leland in the first book and he’s Big South brother that likes older woman because he doesn’t want kids. I honestly didn’t see how his story could be interesting and then I started reading. I should’ve known he was a great guy to be Big South’s brother.

Leland patience and love for Kim is so beautiful. Kim wanting to keep her son happy after putting him threw hell as a kid was beautiful. However, I didn’t agree with her protecting him when she knew her son had anger issues, getting therapy as a child could’ve probably helped. Granted the story was so real and so many people would rather cover something up versus getting the help needed.
