Bridgette’s Review
I really enjoyed this book. It flowed from beginning to end. To me, Drew was kinda portrayed as a “rough neck” only because of certain words he used…lol Kalia and Drew’s relationship started quickly but I was excited how it ended 🤫 My fav has to be lil Hailee, aka matchmaker. She was so on point the enter time. Loved the story!

5 Stars: I love Drew & Kalie aka Teach love story. My petty self-love that Rob got to see what he missed out on. I feel for Savannah because she has to watch Kalie get the man she wanted in Drew. I love Hailee, and her relationship with her dad is so beautiful 🥰. It was such a feel-good book ️
Renée’s Review
A’ight lil baby lol. Any time a story takes place in Texas, I’m all for it. No, it wasn’t my beloved hometown lol. But I’m not a Dallas hater like a lot of the Houstonians I know.
Anyway, I loved this story. It was sweet and sexy. The characters were relatable and quite mature. I mean that things could have been blurted out at the wrong moment but tongues were held. Situations could’ve gone all the way left but again, they mostly did the right thing. Well, Kalia did.
Kalia was smart with how she handled things with Drew. I appreciated her keeping a cool head and being honest about how she felt. Both of them were cute how they didn’t want the other to know how pressed they were. They tried to front like we all do at times.
Hailee took the cake for me. Drew’s nine-year-old daughter was very in tuned with her father and baby girl never had a problem with speaking her mind about it. She gave her dad the push he always needed when it came to Kalia. She stole the show for me.
Loved it!
