Karli has always led a sheltered life, and she has no complaints. To her, life is perfect: the perfect career, the perfect friends, the perfect husband.

After a joyous dinner party turns disastrous, Karli’s perfect world is turned inside out. As she struggles to hold onto the life she holds dear, in comes the perfect stranger, Hudson Lewis. His charm and breathtaking view of life takes Karli by storm and awakens a dormant beast that unknowingly lies within. No holds barred, Karli embraces her new lease on life with a vengeance, but when a melting pot of lies and deceit is exposed, everyone’s life will forever be changed as it brings everything to light in plain view.

Bridgette’s Review

This one had my emotions all over the place! Karli and Michael are one hot mess. He acting like he don’t know how he wants his wife to act. And she was out in them streets acting a whole fool! I am just so upset with them both. I don’t know about y’all, but I think Hudson has ulterior motives. Watch and see.

Renée’s Review

Maaannnn, look. I had no idea this book was going to be like this! Karli shocked me with pretty much every move she made. Her marriage with Michael seemed like it could’ve worked and I was rooting for them. The secrets were dead wrong, but forgiveness was possible in my eyes. I guess I was wrong.

The restrictions in the bedroom, though. Umm, no, sir. If you are such a Christian, then you know that marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled. Anything goes! He should have allowed Karli to explore their bed game as she pleased. That part was annoying and had me almost siding with Karli but she pissed me off too.

Hudson. I don’t know about him. On one end, I’m thinking he’s giving her what she wants and seems to be getting what he wants. On the other hand, how much do we really know about him? Can he be trusted? Or maybe I’m paranoid. Sometimes when things look greener on the other side, it backfires. After accepting the pull that Hudson and Karli had on each other, it may be the real thing.

Then there’s Catrina. Forget her.

I will be reading book two to see what is about to go down. I was good with the happy ending for Karli and Hudson, but now I don’t know. We shall see.

The View was a great read, written sooo good that I was in my feelings and on the fence A LOT. The spiciness was hitting too. Loved it!
