Review: He Who Is A Lover by Love Belvin

He Who Is a Lover

Falling in love wasn’t the goal. In fact, I didn’t think it was possible. That was until Bilan Asad-Yasin turned out to be more than I anticipated when I finally decided to explore her that early spring evening. Those curvy thighs, chiseled cheekbones, auburn freckles, powerful resilience, and endless intellect.

She was a bad decision, this I knew. She’d be a great risk, this I understood. I was an Ellis man, she’d eventually learn. And she did. That’s when she ran, attempted to escape a world she’d soon have to learn to navigate and survive.

Yet, I was not the only one with esoteric layers. Bilan had her own secrets she kept from me: from the world. Those were the truths I’d use as fetters to keep her close forever.

She’d now assimilated the Ellis world.

Publisher’s Note: “He Who Is a Lover” is book TWO of a THREE book series. It ends on a suspenseful CLIFFHANGER. This book contains angst, violence, profanity, sexually explicit content, and gory material. If any of these elements is not what you prefer between the pages of a novel, this is not the venture for you.

Renee’s Review

This woman right here! Love Belvin did it again. She is now at the top of my list and I only read two of her books lol.

He Who Is A Lover starts right where He Who Is A Friend left off. Bilan was on the run but settled at the beach house due to her little bun. I didn’t know what to expect because I wasn’t really sure about Sadik anymore. Meaning, if he’d become completely domineering after Bilan left him in the first book.

But in his own ultra-alpha way, he did so many things right in the midst of his insane family business, his own crazy schedule, and handling his relationship. His heart belonged to Bilan and that did not change one bit. But at times, I thought he lost his mind.

Without telling the story, I will say that a lot of answers are given because Miss Bilan never stopped asking them. She was so torn between what she knew and what she felt.

The pull between Sadik and Bilan was so intense, it makes you look at your man like, “Why you don’t love me like that?” Although, you had to be a special type of woman to deal with all that is Sadik Ellis.

Sadik showed his true colors in a way that had me floored too many times. Bilan held her own as well even through her weakness for this man who she saw as a monster.

The Ellis family and that Tiffany (ugh, Tiffany) had me wishing their bond wasn’t so strong so Bilan could have him to herself far from the crazies. But is some weird way, their family made sense. Irene became a favorite of mine. Even Taaliba helped make the Ellises seem a little normal. Double E Bags surprised me the most. Iban was still Iban, we got a little insight into why he’s the way he is.

He Who Is A Lover had so many moving parts and jaw-dropping realizations about Sadik and his alpha personality. He was very calculated about everything and I mean EVERYTHING. So, whenever he wasn’t in control, he lost control of himself.

I am even more in love with this couple and cannot wait to find out what happens next. Love put her foot in this one.

Loved It!

Bridgette’s Review

Bilan is my hero. She has really stood her ground when it came to Earl and Iban. When I tell you this book had my emotions all over the place.

Honey … I have fallen in love with this man called Caring, Provider, and a Stallion: Sadik…lol. Is it possible to insert some of his characteristics in my man!

And whatever this “It” is that Nalib has I want it too. Can I buy it or borrow it cause hunty when I tell you we have been having a Great time behind closed doors…
Now as for this ending, I don’t wanna give anything away but you wrong!!!! That’s all I can say, just wrong. Great Book as usual.
