October’s Book of the Month: You Could Do Damage by Renee A. Moses

Below is Episode 33, and it’s full of spoilers. If you haven’t read You Could Do Damage, skip down to our reviews.

Gianna Jameson is as stubborn and stuck in her ways as a woman can get. She’s trained to believe that her family is cursed in the love department.

Gia doesn’t believe love exists for her. If it does, it’ll only end in tragedy. The best way to defeat the curse is to avoid love.
Can the right man dispel the curse?

Zakari Lawrence isn’t a love hater. He sees no need for it until he’s ready to give up his free lifestyle. No woman has yet to show him the light so he will move how he wants with whomever he wants.

That’s until his childhood crush comes back home and rearranges his timeline. For her, he’d drop everything and everyone to have the very thing he’s avoided this far: a committed relationship.

Bridgette’s Review

Man, you got me sicka these doggone men w/they “women are h… if they sleep around” selves 🤨
And that Janelle just runs her mouth too much for me! Can’t hold nothing w/then loose lips
Kids somehow always get the low end of the stick when parents make them choose sides. I’m so glad the truth finally came out in the end.

ps. Why do I always see some of my family in Your books 🤔 just so real

Telicia’s Review

I literally started reading one morning and could not put it down, sooooo good! Horniness over everything took me out. 😂 I was nervous when Gia went on the date w/ Trevor, I thought Gia & Zak was really done 🥺. As much as I love me some Zak, him and Gia are meant for each other and I love them together. Zak fake baby mama though, she needs therapy and medication. I just loved everything, it was so good!
