For years, Kahlil has struggled with feeling guilt over not being able to save the person who needed him most. Finally, he believes he has a chance to make things right.
While both Honey and Kahlil have voids the other can fill, there are also reservations and past fears keeping them apart. As easy as their connection was, it proves to be a bit more difficult to keep their secrets and skeletons from ripping them apart. Throughout their journey for one another’s hearts, an enemy from Kahlil’s past threatens their lives. Will Mr. Librarian be able to save Honey again, or will she become another person he fails when they need him most?
Telicia’s Review
I loved it . Honey’s dad sucks but her knowing her uncles would beat him up if they knew how he was treating her really did it for me! Oh & her mom getting the courage to leave him! Honey being protected by Mr. Liberian, I am happy for her, because she is happy! Don’t envy her though, I feared for her the entire time, the suspense was really good.
Bridgette’s Review
I really enjoyed reading about Kahlil and Honey. Their story came with suspense and mystery till the end😲. I loved how independent and strong they both were. They knew what they wanted out of their careers and didn’t settle for less. I sure wish I could meet Mr. Librarian myself😘😋 just to check out his books tho😉
Renée’s Review
I done fell in love with yet another man. I imagine I’d go for the librarian type but this one! Kahlil and his family of librarians were a pleasant surprise because I never imagined the lifestyle they’d have. Being that Honey needed a protector after everything that’d happened to her and the drama with her dad, I was happy that Kahlil had another side. I enjoyed the journey these two went on together to heal what was broken within them. That’s what I’m all about and I loved it. They were what the other needed for a lifetime.
This story gave me action, suspense, and romance. Combinations I usually don’t read but this has changed my preferences a bit. It was an exciting read that had me at the edge of my seat but it wasn’t over the top. I’m definitely adding B. Love to my growing list of authors to read from.
