After two ugly breakups, Airen and Khaliyah gave up on the one thing that made them say “I do”—love. Now, they are single parents who wouldn’t have it any other way after falling for the wrong people.

Airen Landry is a former NFL star who no longer wants any part of the industry. All he wants is to be a great father to his daughter. Sometimes that means making choices for her good rather than his own.

Khaliyah Luke is now a single mom of three. Following her move back home, she wants to start anew in life. One that revolves around family and is far away from falling in love ever again.

Are they really retired on love, or will love make a comeback?

As a single mom of three, I could relate to almost all of Khaliyah’s thoughts. Retired on Love is 100% me—I absolutely love the title. The way Airen and Khaliyah started off had me screaming, “This is the only way I’ll get into another relationship!”

The cliffhanger might make some readers mad or dislike Airen, but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. Mostly because there’s no way the aunt would play matchmaker if he wasn’t anything short of amazing.
I definitely plan to reread it soon—because with a cliffhanger like that, I’m sure I missed some hints. I’m already looking forward to part two!
