Telicia’s Year in Review (2022) with SB3TZ
Out of the twelve books we read together in 2022, here’s how I saw them.
The Sweetest: When the Time is Wright by Renée A. Moses:
I could not stop smiling, Tanji & Tavier gave me such a good feeling, my mouth hurt from smiling so much. I love how Tavier played all day but not about Tanji. It was just the sweetest thing 
The Steamiest: Mister Librarian by B. Love
Well, they were really nasty, & I loved it 
The “now that’s new” (Most Unique): Stay Down by K.C. Mills
Wise’s childhood I could relate to. It sucked, but he’s unique because even though he did the typical selling drugs to get by thing a lot of guys do that lived in the hood did. At the core, he didn’t become Gabrielle Adkins’s son. He was unique in the sense of giving his sister the childhood she deserved. He’s super unique, and I love him.The “I didn’t see that coming” (most surprising): Capturing the Soul of a Boss by Tatum James
Like, they were nasty as well, but I was cool on the nutting in my face, which is why I choose Mister Librarian b/c I wouldn’t mind that being me 
. Anyways, I chose this one for not seeing that coming because finding out Brielle was married, I did not see coming at all, then when he nutted in her face and she liked it, I didn’t see that coming either. Then him doing all that fussing about her being married (as he should) but bruh the fact that he was also married 
. Again, DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!The “That sounded just like me” (reminded me of me): Stay Down by K.C. Mills
I could relate to Wise so much. I never sold drugs, but I def had a mom like Gabrielle Adkins, who is a drug addict and cares about no one but herself. Also just like he’s giving his sister the love he should’ve had, I try my best with my daughters. The whole not being the product of your environment, I was so here for it & could relate to Wise so much Favorite Heroine of all the books we read: I Want It All With You by Renée A. Moses
Okay, so I’ve loved me some Nina since The Cost of Loving You. She’s a loving wife, mom, child, sister, and friend. Like sis was everything to me. She reminds me of you, Renée. Just this amazing woman that deserves everything good in life. Like, even though Mekhi didn’t deserve it, she still wanted the best for him & like I just love her, okay lol.Favorite Hero of all the books we read: When the Time is Wright by Renée A. Moses
I know it’s a short story but TAVIER… If I could build the perfect man for me, it’s him. I love him & his crazy family. I could just see myself becoming a part of that & just laughing & being so happy. I love laughing, plus he just fit me perfectly & even when I feel down & voice it, he’s not irritated with me. He just loves me through it like I just love him 
Favorite overall book: I Want It All With You by Renée A. Moses
It’s the end of one of my favorite series, I get to see how all my people are doing. I love Nina, Noelle, & Lyric and to be there and witness it all, I enjoyed it so much.
