I never wanted to be somebody so bad in my life. I was literally ready to jump into Jazmyn’s skin, which is insane because this girl had to deal with perfectionist parents. She’s a plus-size girlie who grew up in a small town and was bullied for years because people were jealous of her. Then the one person she did have, her Aunt Addy, who was Team Jazz and helped her get out of that small town, ended up getting really sick.

I said all that to say, even knowing my childhood would suck and my first marriage would be awful, I would still jump into this girl’s skin.

The friends she met after leaving her small town, Aaliyah and Nina, were such good friends. I loved them, and their group chat had me crying laughing the entire book.

Also, Aunt Addy lived her life to the fullest. I loved her and definitely cried. I loved the list she made with her niece, and the summer they spent completing it was perfection.

Omg… LAMAR!!!! I love everything about this man. In my past relationships, it was always the man saying he loved me but showing the complete opposite. Lamar’s actions were everything to me, and I would go through whatever I had to in life just to experience a man loving me like that. If I could build the perfect man, it would be him.

I’ve always been with skinny dudes, but I want a big dude who considers my weight lightweight.
